Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Ye all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
It is with a very heavy heart and mixed emotions that we announce that Classical Acting Company is ceasing production.
It is because of the extreme financial burden of running any arts organization in addition to some personal reasons that we say goodbye to CAC. The season will unfortunately end prematurely after Shakespeare's Keeper.
We keep our heads high and consider our time as producers here in Dallas a success. As artists our lives and careers are ever evolving and we look forward to the next chapter. We will remain in Dallas and continue to try and work in the Theatre.
To all the artists, patrons, supporters, volunteers and fans (A lot of you - all of the above) we owe a huge debt of gratitude. We are better people for knowing and/or working with you.
